Group Counselling

Hands Up

As a psychologist, I don't think I'm allowed to have favorites but when I think about group therapy, I almost always smile. Why? Because so often in life, you go through the motions feeling isolated and alone. Somehow, you convince yourself that you're the only one struggling in that way (and if we're being honest, feeling like we are alone sometimes makes everything feel 100x worse). That's where group therapy comes in.

By coming together with people you may or may not know, you realize that you have shared struggles and that that's okay. Group therapy helps remove the veil that you are alone and provides a chance for you to learn from other's experiences (that are similar to your own).

From groups centered on first time motherhood, anxiety, stress and grief you can find a community that can stand with you and provide a judgement free zone as you navigate the stage of life you are currently in. So, what do you say? Are you in?
